As a professional mechanical seal manufacturer, Yongbang operates a fully integrated production facility covering raw material inspection, precision machining, surface treatment, assembly, and final testing. Our production line covers the full seal manufacturing process — from raw material inspection and CNC turning to lapping, vulcanizing, assembly, and dynamic testing. With 9-axis machining capability and in-house quality verification at every stage, we ensure tight tolerances and repeatable quality across high-volume and custom production runs.
Rubber Vulcanizing & Molding
Secondary sealing elements such as O-rings, rubber bellows, and PTFE wedges are formed using rubber vacuum vulcanizing machines. Vacuum processing eliminates trapped air and micro-porosity, producing elastomer components with superior chemical resistance, consistent compression set, and extended service life across NBR, EPDM, FKM, and FFKM compounds.
Lapping & Polishing
Seal faces are lapped on precision flat-lapping machines to achieve optical-grade flatness within 2 light bands (0.58μm). Both rotary and stationary faces in SiC, tungsten carbide, and carbon graphite undergo controlled lapping sequences to ensure full-face contact and minimal leakage rates at operating pressures.
Metal Bellows Welding
Bellows units are edge-welded using CNC-controlled precision welding systems to produce consistent, high-quality weld joints on every convolution. Each bellows is helium leak-tested and verified with free-length gauging. Full post-weld heat treatment in three stages eliminates residual stress and prevents fatigue failure at weld points.
